About the role

This is a foundational role that will provide you with the opportunity to work across an early-stage startup and gain exposure across the company and team, and take responsibilities for key day-to-day business operations at Wollit.

You will get real hands-on experience in all areas VC-backed startup life and will enjoy the guidance and support from an experienced entrepreneurial team.

Role Description

  • Establish and implement processes and workflows to optimise organisational efficiency
  • Design and manage processes and workflows to improve and scale business operations
  • Identify and implement continual operational improvements across all business functions
  • Coordinate across teams and service providers to optimise communication effectiveness
  • Vet and contract external service providers and be their primary point of contact
  • Liaise and negotiate with external service providers to achieve business objectives
  • Assist the executive team in executing operational and strategic initiatives
  • Present insights and make recommendations to inform significant business decisions

On a given week you might be documenting our recruiting process and employee handbook, ensuring we are fully compliant with the latest regulatory guidelines, analysing usage data from excel models, drafting product FAQs and negotiating commercial terms with service providers.

About you

  • You have a high capacity to get things done quickly to an impeccable standard
  • You can coordinate, prioritise and manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • You enjoy a lot of variety in your daily and weekly objectives
  • You have strong organisational, writing and numerical skills
  • You are a confident and persuasive communicator
  • You enjoy working autonomously and being responsible for key business objectives
  • You are commercially-minded and at ease negotiating with service providers
  • You thrive in a mission-driven environment and want a key role in an exciting startup
